IFBB Pro Chris Bumstead Signs with Team MHP

Every few years, a young gun with all the makings of a champion sets foot on a bodybuilding stage— someone the industry watches with a close eye in the years to come. Recent examples include Cody Montgomery, Dallas McCarver and Justin Compton. Chris Bumstead is another bodybuilder with the complete package: an X-frame with wide clavicles capped by round and full delts, a small waist and flaring thighs, killer shape and a muscle density and maturity you typically don’t see on competitors under the age of 30.

2016 has been a very good year for Chris Bumstead. His dedication, hard work and stunning genetics have been acknowledged by the industry— as he became the youngest Canadian bodybuilder to ever turn pro, earning his pro card at the IFBB North Americans. Chris joined the ranks of other 21-year-olds in recent years, such as Dallas McCarver and Dominic Cardone, who earned the coveted IFBB pro status at age 21.

An impressive win at the North Americans and turning pro at age 21 isn’t the only good news for Chris Bumstead. He recently reached another career milestone, having signed an exclusive agreement with MHP (Maximum Human Performance), and the Canadian powerhouse of shape and symmetry thinks the partnership is a perfect fit.

“I am excited to announce I am officially part of the MHP team!” Chris told MD. “I have been waiting for the right opportunity with a company I not only like, but also a company with products I can stand behind in good conscience.

“MHP takes pride in the quality and efficacy of all their products, and I am honored to represent a brand with such high standards. As made evident by their success, MHP comes out with nothing but the highest-quality products and their new line is no exception,” he said.

Chris Bumstead has more to offer than a stellar physique and unlimited potential as a bodybuilder. As a kinesiology major, Bumstead puts a great deal of thought and analysis into proper training technique. “I’ve always had a passion for how the human body works, and helping athletes recover from injuries so they can get back out on the field doing what they love,” he said.

Chris summed everything up by saying, “As a young athlete, I could not be more excited to build my future with such an amazing company. Also with a fresh pro card under my belt and MHP launching their brand-new product line, I can promise big things to come, so be sure to stay tuned!”

Muscular Development congratulates Chris Bumstead, and he will be featured in our November 2016 and December 2016 issues.
