Chemist Says Sheffield and Bonds Used Drugs PDF Print E-mail

Patrick Arnold, a chemist who worked with the Bay Area Laboratory Co-Operative, said in an HBO Sports interview that Barry Bonds and Gary Sheffield took performance-enhancing drugs provided to them by the laboratory.
Bonds and Sheffield have denied knowingly using drugs provided by Balco, and told that to a federal grand jury investigating the laboratory, according to leaked testimony. Bonds remains under investigation over concerns about his testimony.

My good friend Victor Conte called me yesterday and laid this crazy story on me.  Over two months ago, Victor reserved and paid - via credit card - for booth space at the Mr. Olympia Expo.  He was hoping to showcase the nutritional products being sold by his new company, SNAC.  He also went ahead and booked airfare and hotel rooms in Vegas for himself and several of his staff.

The WWE says reports speculating that steroids played a role in the apparent murder-suicide of professional wrestler Chris Benoit, whom police say killed his wife and son before taking his own life, are "sensationalistic" and are not supported by evidence in the case.
