Heath put an end to all the speculation and predictions concerning what he
would actually bring to the stage when he walked out looking at least 20 pounds
heavier with new muscle in all the right places, sporting the driest,
transparent skinned conditioning of the show to unanimously take the first pro
contest of the 2008 season.
February 16, 2008. The 19th
rendition of the IRONMAN Pro is now in the history Books and tonight's show proved
to be one of the deepest lineups ever.By the time the first callout was over, two men stood ahead of the rest-Phil
Heath and Gustavo Badell.
The annual "Meet the Pros" segment will take place on Friday, February
15, at the FitExpo hall. There will be a weigh-in, and both members of
the media and the audience will be able to query the athletes before
meeting them on an individual basis upon its conclusion.
The Men's Judging will take place on Saturday, February 16, at 10 am; Finals are set for 6:30 pm.
