I turned 50 this year and I just caught my second wind. Most
men my age are catching their breath, not picking up the iron game and
pirouetting into bodybuilding. They're calculating months and years to
retirement and working percentages on their 401(K) while I'm doing the same
with training schedules and body fat.

Forty-five year old Geno Sylvain was born in Brooklyn, New York (in the same neighborhood as Victor Martinez). The son of a cliff diver, he started lifting at 24 while attending NYC's Fashion Institute of Technology (F.I.T.).

Hey Charlie:
You're an old timer and you've probably been in a lot of gyms...tell me, are almost all big muscle guys (you excluded) bullies?
I ‘m an average built guy in my early 30's and I find that when I'm in the gym, I get intimidated off the exercise equipment by these "big guys". They usually say things like "Hey, I'm on that machine" when I know I was on the machine, first.
