LAS VEGAS (AP) - Married professional bodybuilders Craig Titus and Kelly Ryan have been sentenced to prison in the slaying of their live-in assistant in December 2005.

The 43-year-old Titus was sentenced Friday to 21 to 55 years. He pleaded guilty May 30 to second-degree murder, kidnapping and arson in the slaying of 28-year-old Melissa James.

Ryan was sentenced to 6 to 26 years in prison. She pleaded guilty to arson and Nevada's equivalent of no contest to battery with a deadly weapon.

James' charred body was found in December 2005 in the trunk of Ryan's burned-out Jaguar sedan in the desert outside Las Vegas.

Nelson Brady Going To Jail:

LAS VEGAS (AP) -- A Las Vegas man is going to prison for trying to hire a hit man to kill witnesses in the slaying case involving former professional bodybuilders Craig Titus and Kelly Ryan.

Clark County District Court Judge Douglas Herndon sentenced 41-year-old Nelson Ronald Brady Jr. on Tuesday to 8 to 25 years. A jury found Brady guilty Feb. 5 of three counts of solicitation to commit murder.

Prosecutors say Brady was an awe-struck fan who befriended Titus at the Clark County jail and tried to hire a hit man to kill three key witnesses in Titus' murder case.

The 43-year-old Titus and 36-year-old Ryan are due for sentencing Friday after pleading guilty to charges in the December 2005 slaying of their 28-year-old personal assistant, Melissa James.
