  Mo' Cool Red Star Gear

The iron bros who have been lucky enough to get on Red Star's list are definitely freighted with extra mass. You guys know it- their shit rocks!  Because it does, much of their so-called "competition" hates on them. Let me tell you- straight from me- I use their shit exclusively. If they don't make it, I don't need it. Neither should anyone else, but I know I'm fortunate to be among their clients. And I'm not just saying that because I get a freebie or two tossed my way. Uh-uh. I have had their stuff tested; I have rapped the science with Red Star chief, Big Phil; I have many bros who also use their shit exclusively; and I know of several top IFBB and NPC bros on their shit. No one has ever had a problem except for not fitting into their clothes. My research, experience and the broad appeal among many in the know all goes to make me slam their shit into my own hide with aplomb. The "competition" hates on them because they can't hang with them. It's going to work against them, though. The competition's hate will make Red Star great. It seems to be the Red Star philosophy.

Accordingly, in their ever-persistent quest to bring their clients the top-of- the-line, newest and coolest gear, Red Star has again been tinkering in the lab and come up with the next generation of "I gotta have it" gear.

Those hip to Red Star will have gotten their new product list by now and notice that they now carry only butyrate esters and single entity products. You will also notice the prices have come down quite a bit. What's going on? According to Big Phil, they decided to buy a 55-kilogram container of butyric acid for esterifying all their products. They picked this (butyrate ester) because the Red Star contract laboratory in China was able to recrystalize the steroids better and easier with this ester over cypionate, or enanthate, or others. So, now, they are buying base steroids and having their contract lab make the butyrate ester only.

This has resulted in a substantial lowering of cost to Red Star, and being the spendthrifts they are, they have decided to pass this savings on to their loyal clients, thus availing them of much lower prices. Big Phil told me that since the emergence of their new chemical format, they have been getting a number of questions about this unique ester (which they hope will be synonymous with Red Star and linked exclusively with them in the future). So, Big Phil asked me if I'd explain a little bit about it here in my column.

A simple browse through any standard chemistry resource will tell you that a butyrate ester has four carbons in the ester chain, which is one more than propionate (which has three carbons) and two less than cypionate, which has six. This makes the estimated half-life of the butyrate ester approximately four to five days (as compared to the propionate ester which is two to three days and the cypionate ester which is six to seven days). With this kind of half- life, you can spread out your injection frequency with these steroids to every four to five days for most people. As the head of product development, and CEO of Red Star, Big Phil is very confident that you're going to flat out love this new series of steroids that they have cleverly named "The Dragon" series.

As always, if you are currently on the Red Star client list and have any further technical questions about their products, Big Phil asks you to please feel free to contact them. If you are not on the Red Star client list and want to be considered for inclusion, you must come up with two bros who are currently Red Star clients who will come forward and vouch for you. None of this "so and so will vouch for me" shit. They actually have to come out and say, "Yo, so and so is cool."
