Well folks, the prejudging is in the can and we have a few things to say about it. First of all, there were no competitors who broke out. They were all pretty much in the same league and some in the know were heard to say they didn’t like anyone! However, the judges have to place what’s up there and the two of us are certainly not going to be short on our opinions.

The top row as Flex and Romano see it are:

Desmond Miller – we argued over this all through prejudging and Flex finally conceded to Romano’s insistence that Flex was blind and that Desmond would prevail. While the jury is still out and anything can happen, if it does it will be an upset. Desmond was not as good as his Nationals showing, but probably the best one on stage today.

Next we picked Dennises but still can’t agree on which one beat the other. Wolf is the tallest of the crew and packs on a tremendous amount of muscle. He’s got a tiny waist, huge shoulders and was shredded to the bone. Kamali is definitely not beating him this time out and if the fans have anything to say about it Wolf would win the whole thing. DJ looked better than he has looked in years but his glutes and hams were not as crisp as they could be. Flex and I can’t agree on who beat who, but good money could be made on a guy named Dennis placing second or third.

Silvio Samuel proved again he is a force to be reckoned with. The kid is a freak and he knows it. He doesn’t seem to ever change from one show to the next, but then again for 13 years neither did Shawn Ray. Flex called Silvio a lock for third, and if that’s the way it turns out no one will argue.

The standout if there was one was Kai Green. As a natural competitor, Kai always showed promise but never delivered in the big show. Today it appears Kai found a better pharmacy! He looked amazing. He was big like never before and sliced to the bone. If this kid keeps coming back like this the judges are going to have to deal him a better hand.

Overall, we thought it was about who we disliked the least, not who we liked the most. There was just no clear standout winner and the top three could go any way and no one will complain. The judges did a very good job of mixing it up so that there was no clear indication of who they had where. We will all have to wait until tonight.
