My plane landed a little before 11 am today. As soon as the wheels hit the tarmac I turned on my cell phone and hit Veronicas number. Veronica is a mad hot little thing who puts the eek! In freak. And let me tell you, my little friend is hooked up in Vegas which will come in handy as the week progresses - plus, shes not to hard on my eyes either. After what Ive been through lately a little Veronica was just what any sane doctor would order. She met me at baggage claim wearing a little black dress that immediately put me in a Vegas frame of mind. Within minutes we were headed to the Hard Rock so that I could check in and we could get straight to rehab.

The only way to be in Rehab is if youre staying at the Hard Rock. So, this year, I book the first day there just so I could get the wristbands at check in. It was worth it.

The scene at Rehab is off the chain. The DJ is spinning some kicking house, and there is a never ending stream of hot looking people parading around. Some deserve to be wearing almost nothing, while others dont understand that just because something fits doesnt mean you should wear it. But no one really seemed to mind. We ran into some yoked dudes from NY who recognized me right away. There were a few other loyal MD readers in Rehab today as well. This was not a particularly important weekend here in Vegas, so the club was not as jammed as Ive seen it when Ive been here for Labor Day, but the crowd was in really good spirits, everyone was really friendly and no one was an asshole. Maybe they were all still rolling, who knows.

After youve spent some time in Rehab, youll need to get something to eat. Veronicas buddy Eli is the manager of Tao restaurant and called to invite us over. So, off we went to the Venetian. Eli met us at the very crowded entrance and escorted us to a seat at the bar where we sampled various cold sakes until our table was ready. After some special appetizers we had a little sushi and then it was back to the hotel. I need some sleep! Things are going to get busy starting tomorrow, so stay tuned for whats happening in the home of the Olympia. And, if any of you guys want us to check out the scene somewhere you hear is hot, just let me know and well check it out for you! See you tomorrow!
