2010 Arnold Classic
Heather Armbrust Drops from the 2010 Arnold due to injury
Heather Armbrust is considered one of the top female bodybuilders in the field today; withdrawn from the 2010 Arnold due to injury.
As Heather writes on her blog, “I am so sorry about this but no I will not be competing in the Ms. I. It took a lot of very difficult thought and added stress but I came to a conclusion to do what is best for me and my family.”
When Heather initially put in for her invited in October she had every intention of training hard and coming to the Arnold ready to compete. However, several injuries – both old and new – have prevented Heather from spending as much time in the gym as she would like. As we all know, time off from the gym when preparing for a show can be extremely tough – mentally and physically – when trying to be at your best physique.
“Things happen and I’m done beating myself up about it. I want to thank everyone who is supportive of my decision… it means more than you could know!” Heather writes.
But is this the end of Heather Armbrust?
Definitely not! Heather has confirmed that she will be competing at the Olympia for sure. Taking the time off now, will hopefully give Heather time to heal and prepare as she needs to come on stage win the Ms. O title.
“Things happen and I’m done beating myself up about it. I want to thank everyone who is supportive of my decision… it means more than you could know!” Heather writes. “In the
mean time, I am going to pursue some alternative things. We are taking Salsa and I want to work on my Spanish.”
We all need some time off and hopefully this time will help Heather become even more prepared for her fall appearance on stage at the 2010 Ms. Olympia.
