Shawn Rhoden Wins the 2014 Australian Pro Grand Prix XIV
Shawn Rhoden may have won the 2014 Australian Pro, but the bigger winner of the day was perhaps William Bonac. With a second place finish, coupled with beating the likes of Evan Centopani and Branch Warren, Bonac has emerged as a real contender.
With Dennis Wolf out of the picture, Shawn Rhoden was easily the favorite going into the show. Branch and Evan were looked as the most likely to battle for second.
Enter William Bonac at his all-time best. He was big. He was hard, and he was clearly the surprise of the show. With a little posing work, look for William to take the winner’s circle by storm this year.
Not to be overlooked, Shawn Rhoden was the clear winner of the show. With peeled abs and the best back-double-bi of the show, he left no room for Bonac, even at his best.
Branch Warren did not let his fans down. He was hands down the most muscular athlete in the line-up. Given his structural weaknesses, he could not overtake the top two. He did give Evan Centopani a good run for his money. In the end, Evan's superior structure likely catapulted him above Branch for third.
