Silvio Samuel hit the competition with the perfect 1-2 punch en route to winning his 2nd Pro show in as many nights. Silvio's unique combination of symmetry, conditioning, and muscle shape made him an overwhelming package on this particular night. For his efforts, Samuel picked up a coo,000 plus another $1000 for winning the People's Choice Award. If you combine this with last night's $3000 first prize, his earnings for the weekend total an impressive $19,000.
lacing 2nd was California's Big Will Harris. Harris finally nailed his conditioning and brought to the stage his best "package" to date. Harris' enormous back and peaked biceps were among the most impressive of the night. For his efforts, Will earned himself a trip to the Mr Olympia on September 28th in Las Vegas.
3rd place went to Bill Wilmore who brought a dry, hard, muscled body to the stage. Had he also brought his usual striated glutes, he might have found himself in the winners circle. Either way, Wilmore proved that he's still one of the most consistent Pros on the scene. For his 3rd place effort, he earned himself another trip to the Mr. O.
Finishing in 4th place was 6' 4" Quincy Taylor. Quincy clearly missed his peak on this night and most in attendance thought his 4th place finish was more of a gift than an earned reward. Big Q needs to bust his butt the next few weeks if he's gonna get in good enough shape to qualify for the Big O.
Omar Deckard brought a much-improved physique to the stage, tonight, and as a reward for his efforts, he earned the 5th place spot in the lineup. Omar has endured endless criticism for his weak legs his entire career; but on this night, his leg development has been the best it's ever been. If Omar can add another 10-15lbs (mostly in the upper leg) to his huge frame, he can be a real force to be reckoned with in the future.
Honorable mention goes to Evgeny Mishin who brought a thick and ultra-conditioned physique to the stage. He was arguably the hardest competitor of the night. If Big Eugene adds another 10 pounds of well-placed mass to his huking 6-1" frame, he's gonna be a serious threat to the top echelon.
