The International Sports Hall of Fame is a 501(c) Non Profit foundation established to honor the world’s greatest sport legends. “This global organization believes that these remarkable athletes should endure and be recognized long after their careers have ended,” said Dr. Robert Goldman, founder and chairman of the International Sports Hall of Fame. “Just as important is what Hall of Fame candidates do later in life, in giving back to others and society, with charity work, and mentoring young people.”
The induction ceremonies are held annually at the Arnold Sports Festival, which is the largest multi-sport event in the nation. In 2014 the festival grew to a record 50 sports and events which attracted 175,000 sports and fitness fans to watch 18,000 athletes compete.
