David Baye Appointed Online Editor of Muscular Development

Muscular Development is pleased to announce that David Baye has been appointed Online Editor of musculardevelopment.com!

David is passionate about bodybuilding and first started following the industry at age 11 before beginning to train with weights at age 12. Following in the footsteps of his older brother who competed in bodybuilding, David started competing in 2001 and has been an NPC judge since 2004.

In addition to his vast experience in the bodybuilding industry, David studied communications in college and worked in marketing a number of years after graduating. For the last several years, David has worked as a Media Correspondent for MD, covering shows and interviewing bodybuilding’s top athletes.

As Online Editor of MD, David will oversee bodybuilding’s No. 1 bodybuilding multimedia destination, helping musculardevelopment.com to further evolve in providing the best content in the industry. Because he is so passionate about the sport, David also plans to compete in 2016.

“I have the utmost respect for David and his incredible work ethic, discipline, focus, mindset and determination, plus his vision, passion and drive to be a great leader and online editor,” said Muscular Development Publisher Steve Blechman. “I have complete confidence that David will make great contributions to the MD website. Our goal is to continue to be bodybuilding’s No. 1 multimedia destination! We provide the bodybuilding community with the industry’s leading magazine, website, contest reporting, social community and bodybuilding science. I can assure you that in 2016, MD will be better than ever! Better content, better programming and better contest coverage than ever before! That’s a promise.”

“I’d like to congratulate David Baye on being appointed Online Editor of musculardevelopment.com. With his energy, abilities and commitment to bodybuilding, I look forward to working with him to expand and enhance our brand,” said MD Senior Online Editor Peter McGough.

“I am excited for the opportunity to work alongside icons in the industry like Steve Blechman, Peter McGough, Bob Chicherillo and Shawn Ray to bring the best content to bodybuilding’s top media site,” said David. “Being in bodybuilding as long as I have, I want to bring the fans what they want and are going to appreciate— including fresh features highlighting up-and-comers, fan favorites and inspirational figures in the bodybuilding and fitness world, a vast array of both instructional and pre-contest training videos, and all the other traditional and some not-so-traditional training and nutrition info our readers are used to.”
