Next MD Cover - MFIT Supps Athlete Steve Laureus

With his stunning shape, structure and balance, Steve Laureus was born to be a Classic Physique champion. One look at his tiny joints, full muscle bellies and flowing lines, and there is no doubt this man was destined to represent the ideals of Classic. “Glorious Laureus” has become the moniker of the man who could be the future of the division, and that’s why we featured him on this month’s cover of MD.

Steve Laureus is taking time to make the necessary improvements that will take him to the next level, as he trains to win the 2020 Arnold Classic. With the guidance of coach Neil “Yoda” Hill, Steve is well on his way to closing in on the competitive weight of 215 pounds, the limit for his height of 5 foot 10 for a pro in Classic Physique. Read more about the strategy that this MFIT SUPPS athlete and his coach have put in place in “The Glorious Steve Laureus.”

Nathan De asha has only competed as a pro in his homeland of the United Kingdom once before 2019, when he made his debut at the Bodypower Pro and narrowly lost to his friend and fellow Oxygen Gym teammate, Roelly Winklaar. This year, De asha competed in the U.K. again at the British Grand Prix.He trained to qualify for the 2019 Mr. Olympia, but it was not to be a smooth prep. Still, this MuscleMeds athlete kept going. “I never let anything get me down during this prep,” Nahtan tells MD in “The Prophecy Is Foretold: Nathan De asha Makes His Bid to Qualify for the O at Home in the U.K.”

Josh Wade was told many times he would never turn pro. Then, when he turned pro as a Masters competitor, he was assured that no man earning his card in the Masters ever made even the slightest impact in the pro ranks. This amazing Allmax Nutrition athlete has been proving his doubters wrong for a long time now. “One thing I’m not and never will be is a quitter. I take pride in having worked hard for everything I have, and it’s in my nature to keep on pushing until I’ve achieved my goals,” he tells MD. Go back to basics and get better results in the gym in “Old School Still Rules! Timeless Training and Nutrition Strategies”

Very few champion bodybuilders make successful transitions into other ventures. Of course, Arnold Schwarzenegger went on to become the world’s number-one film star and governor of California, and men like Rich Gaspari, Lee Labrada, Ronnie Coleman and Gerard Dente all launched successful supplement companies. In this month’s MD meet Sam Bakhtiar, who made his mark as a national-level bodybuilder before enjoying tremendous success in the gym industry and more recently with his supplement company, One Percent Nutrition. Saman Bakhtiar is a shining example that if you work hard enough, take risks, and believe in yourself, you truly can accomplish anything in life.
