Win in Columbus!

It was a night of surprises in Ohio at the 2013 Arnold Sports Festival. While there were some predicted results, there were certainly a few memorable moments for the fans in Columbus.

Fitness

Many considered Oksana Grishina to be the favorite going in. She already racked up her first Arnold Title in Madrid, just a few months ago. Based on momentum alone, it seemed like her show to lose. But forever-a-bridesmaid Tanji Johnson had something to say about that! Her win came with a perfect score in both the physique and routine rounds. Oksana came in second, and Bethany Cisternino in third. Trish Warren scored an impressive fourth on her first time back on stage since the birth of her daughter, Faith.

Figure

Like Fitness, the Figure Division came with somewhat of a shock. Going into the show, everyone expected Erin Stern to take her first Figure International Title. After the dust of prejudging cleared, the talk turned to Candice Keene. In this case, talk was not cheap, as Candice scored her first Figure Internationalwin on her birthday. Erin was relegated to third, while Heather Dees moved up to third. Thiscertainly started the IFBB Pro Figure season off with a bang!

Female Bodybuilding

No surprises in female bodybuilding. Iris Kyle scored a record seventh Ms. International title. Debi Lazewski and Yaxeni Oriquen were in a tight race for second. Debi was supremely muscled, but just could not keep up with the genetics of Yaxeni. As far as Iris, she just appears to be unbeatable at this point. She'll start her prep for the 2013 Olympia in June, and will likely break records there too.

See how it all went down in MD's play-by-play
