The 2013 Universal Bodybuilding Camp

Featuring Evan Centopani & Antoine Vaillant

March 7, 2013— Universal, a leading bodybuilding brand founded in 1977, announces the great success of the second-ever Universal Bodybuilding Camp (UBC).

The Universal Bodybuilding Camp is a chance for the Universal brand to give back to the bodybuilding community by educating individuals and spreading knowledge about the benefits of weight training.  Our larger goal is to help those who attend a UBC get one step closer to reaching their individual goals through the hands-on training and guidance of our athletes and mentors. The UBC also fosters the positivity, encouragement and motivation that comes from spending the day with the Universal family and building a community together.

On Sunday, February 24th, Universal held the second-ever Universal Bodybuilding Camp at Fit Gym in Philadelphia, PA. Twelve of our sponsored athletes and mentors, including IFBB Pros Evan Centopani, Vinny Galanti and Antoine Vaillant, top NPC competitors Josh Halladay, Josh Landry, Christian Coronato and Al Fortney, powerlifting coach and competitor Henri Skiba and bodybuilding guru Greg Long, acted as instructors at six separate training stations. Each UBC attendee received guidance and tips from our experts at each of the six stations – legs, back, chest, shoulders, arms and abs. The camp concluded with a Q&A session, at which all the sponsored athletes in attendance fielded questions from the camp attendees.

In addition, all those who attended the UBC were given commemorative t-shirts to mark their participation. Proceeds from the UBC entry fee went to a noteworthy charity, the Boys & Girls Club of Philadelphia.
