CLASSIC PHSYIQUE PREJUDGING WITH RON HARRIS

Muscular Development 2020 Mr Olympia Classic Physique Judging Report

It looks like Chris Bumstead will win his second Olympia title tonight. He improved from last year, showing a little more back thickness, and it’s very obvious that his superior structure puts him over the edge in comparison to former two-time champion Breon Ansley. Because he’s taller and wider and has a longer torso, he has a much more pronounced V-taper. He absolutely owns certain poses like the side chest, and abdominals, and thigh.

Breon looked fantastic today, and in terms of Bodybuilding, he does have a much more complete physique with better arms and back than Chris. But Bumstead is just too much to handle.

Terrance ‘Ruff Diesel’ Ruffin is a solid third place. He’s added some quality muscle mass since taking runner-up at the Arnold classic back in March, his conditioning is superb, and he’s the best poser in the game with excellent presentation. I have reigning Arnold Classic champ Alex Cambronero right behind him in fourth place. He looks as good or better than he did in Columbus. A real surprise of the show was newcomer Bryan Jones, Who won the Chicago pro a few weeks back in Atlanta. Bryan Is a taller guy with wide clavicles and a tiny waist, with stunning shape.  Logan Franklin and Dani Younan both nailed conditioning today, and will probably be sixth and seventh. For now, here’s how I see it:

                1.            Chris Bumstead

                2.            Breon Ansley

                3.            Terrence Ruffin

                4.            Alex Cambronero

                5.            Bryan Jones

                6.            Logan Franklin
