Chris Hobrecker Joins ARM as Digital Creative Director

With continued success comes the opportunity for growth, and that’s exactly what’s happening here at Advanced Research Media. Today I am proud to announce the hiring of Chris Hobrecker as the Digital Creative Director at ARM.

Chris’ responsibilities will begin with the redesign and update of the FitnessRx for Women, FitnessRx for Men and Muscular Development websites. He will also take the lead on the design and development of the first Muscular Development DIGITAL EDITION coming later this year. You can expect all of our titles to have a digital version of the magazine and associated applications in the coming months.

After working with Chris for the year before I arrived at MD, I was eager to collaborate further. His vision, design skill, technical acumen and organization are impeccable, and his influence will immediately raise the quality of our products.

FITNESSRX-MEN--WOMEN-LOGOsSteve explains, “I am extremely proud to welcome Chris to our great team of athletes, writers, editors, photographers, graphic artists and bodybuilding icons. I have the utmost confidence that Chris will make many great contributions to the company. It is my goal to hire the best talent in the industry. You’re only as good as your team, and MD has the best team! Advanced Research Media, MD’s parent company, has become a multimedia company and bodybuilding’s number one multimedia destination.”

Chris’ qualifications and experience are above reproach and he is well known in our industry and beyond. He is an award-winning Creative Director with experience in the publishing, print, marketing and entertainment industries. Prior to joining ARM, Chris was the Group Creative Director for Weider Publications from 2005 to 2011.

Chris is already hard at work, as he shared: “I'm very excited to work with Steve, Elyse and Sean and the rest of the team at Advanced Research Media on further expanding the MD and FitnessRx brands into the digital world. Now is such a pivotal time in the fitness industry with the success of the new divisions and the unprecedented growth. The same is true in publishing design, as we develop websites, social media and digital in partnership with traditional paper.

“I look forward to pushing the boundaries creatively to really enhance the readers and advertisers experience on all levels. I’m also exited to work alongside Per Bernal in continuing to produce the best photography in the industry. Thank you to everyone at ARM for this opportunity; I'll do my best to live up to your expectations.”

And we have no doubt he will. Welcome, Chris.
