Timing is everything, but it is pretty much 'always' when it comes to Dwayne Johnson.

Our May issue just hit the newsstands and it includes a feature on The Rock getting ready for an entire slew of major motion pictures he is starring in, as well as the latest installment in the gala annual event known as WrestleMania. And practically at the same time our magazine is placed on the top row of the store shelves, "G.I. Joe: Retaliation" opens up at theatres everywhere.

An athlete like Johnson takes his physical appearance seriously and he trained just as hard as any professional bodybuilder to come in big and ripped. To do so, he didn't have the luxury of an offseason – or anything even close to it. Traveling all over due to his commitment to the WWE and filming four movies recently made it a must that he maintained his hard look and follow a strict diet in the process. But that type of dedication is a given when it comes to Johnson.

GI-Joe-Retaliation-Poster-0101"He is the hardest working man that I know – period," says MD's own George Farah, who has been working with Johnson for nearly three years. "Dwayne is always on point and executes at 100 percent."

Judging by how he looks in the G.I. Joe trailer, that is a certainty. When Hasbro created the action figure series back in 1964, they had no idea that their soldier would go from a slim looking military man to the humongous cartoon-like Johnson, who plays the character Roadblock in the sequel to 2009's "G.I. Joe: The Rise of the Cobra."

Channing Tatum is back to recreate his Duke character from the first installment, which collected $300 million worldwide at the box office. This time, the team has to fly into Pakistan to recover a stash of 'misplaced' nuclear warheads. Of course, it is a 'shoot-'em-up,' 'good guys versus bad guys' action flick and Johnson is said to steal the show.

Then next Sunday, Johnson defends his WWE title against John Cena at WresleMania XXIX at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. This is a rematch from last year's prestigious event, one in which The Rock came out victorious.

No doubt that Johnson – who considers MD his favorite bodybuilding magazine and is a big fan of the industry – picked up a few pointers reading through the pages that our expert team puts together month after month. Considering his hectic schedule, it's always a good time to try out a new movement from a feature on Jay Cutler or Dexter Jackson.subs-100-jay
