How to Improve Your Stamina and Endurance

Q: How can I improve my stamina and endurance?

 

A: First you need to kick up your erythropoiesis, in other words, elevate your hematocrit. This is achieved by taking substrates in order to synthesize hemoglobin; hemic iron (with ascorbic acid as catalyst), cobalamin and folate. The best way is to assess your serum levels and boost them to the roof. Another alternative way is to live in high altitude (>5000 feet) for at least four weeks in order for the thinner air to drive hypoxia and your kidneys will kick in for EPO production. A salbutamol inhaler can help with VO2 max and you’ll suck up the air much better. Also liquid carnitine can help with providing fat as an energy source when it’s combined with cardarine that is able to shift energy expenditure from glycogen to adipose tissue and triglycerides. Finally, MCTs can help as an acute energy source.
